CJ at Two

Carl Justine Laplana, is already 2 years old since My 8, 2011. He can already walk and run well. But he still has the problem in talking.

When he turned 1, CJ started talking nonsense. Others called his language baby talk.

If you'll just hear him talking, you would be thinking that CJ can really talk well. However, if you will listen deeper on what he's saying, you'll realize that what he's saying is something strange... something like Chinese language.

Before he turned 2 this May 2011, we transferred our residence from Maasin City to Hinunangan, Southern Leyte. Here he found mates in his age. That's when he started learning to talk real Filipino language.

Here's few of the translation of his language:

1. Vica - water
2. Tata - Tatay or Father. But he's calling all who are older but not as old as those he called as Lolo or grandfather.
3. Nana - Nanay or Mother. 
4. Lala - Lola or Grandmother
5. Lolo - Lolo or Grandfather
6. Mama - Mother
7. Papa - Father
8. Lul - Kuya
9. Tete - Ate
10. Dete - Dirty
11. Baba - Do down
12. Mamam - Food
13. Ma Mamam - Delicious
14. Uh - Cow or Carabao
15. Oss - Horse and Fish

I recently created a news website. I called it SELaplana News since it is hosted with the SELaplana domain.

There are news posted on it already. But I am planning to officially launch it on May 8, 2010, a day when my son will turn 1 year old.

Papa and Baba

Today, Carl Justine enjoyed saying: Papapapa and Babababa

I think, when Carl Justine learn how to say Papapa and Bababa contradicted what other said about babies. They said, babies learned to speak first the Mamama.

But with this development, he is currently suffering from cold and cough which is I think is not a viral infection but just an allergy.

Can Stand By Himself

Carl Justine is already 8 months old. And again, he showed another new development.

Carl Justine can now sit and stand by himself. However, he still have the problem in balancing himself while standing. But I think, he will learn to balance well as long as he continues to practice sitting and standing by himself.

Carl Justine, Do the Push Up

CJ showed his courage to walk. But of course it should start in crawling... And as part of his practice to crawl, CJ as shown in the photo, did the push up exercise.

2nd Teeth

It's December 3, 2009 here. And I am quite excited as I learn that CJ's 2nd tooth showed na.

By the way, CJ, was born on May 8, 2009. Pero ngayon ko lang naisip na magblog about him here. Anyway, it's not yet late.

Look at the teeth of CJ as shown by the photo below. The 2nd tooth is now starting to come out. the only problem is that it's not well arranged.
