When he turned 1, CJ started talking nonsense. Others called his language baby talk.
If you'll just hear him talking, you would be thinking that CJ can really talk well. However, if you will listen deeper on what he's saying, you'll realize that what he's saying is something strange... something like Chinese language.
Before he turned 2 this May 2011, we transferred our residence from Maasin City to Hinunangan, Southern Leyte. Here he found mates in his age. That's when he started learning to talk real Filipino language.
Here's few of the translation of his language:
- Vica - water
- Tata - Tatay or Father. But he's calling all who are older but not as old as those he called as Lolo or grandfather.
- Nana - Nanay or Mother.
- Lala - Lola or Grandmother
- Lolo - Lolo or Grandfather
- Mama - Mother
- Papa - Father
- Lul - Kuya
- Tete - Ate
- Dete - Dirty
- Baba - Do down
- Mamam - Food
- Ma Mamam - Delicious
- Uh - Cow or Carabao
- Oss - Horse and Fish
